Set abilities are considered by most to be the most powerful abilities that can be found on gear. There are a wide range of sets to be found. Some are able to be made by players and put on any piece of armor that they can make while others are only found through in game dropped items. To see a comparison of all sets go to the set comparison page.
Craftable sets are able to be made in all styles and for all levels. Craftable set bonuses may be applied to any player made armor item. Jewelery items (necklace and rings) are not player craftable at this time. Some craftable sets scale with your level, some are set percentages. For scaleable sets the items must be made for the same player level in order to count for the set bonus. I am unsure as to whether set bonuses can be attained with different level items that use a percentage based skill. For clarity’s sake all stats given are for Veteran Rank 12 armor and it will be noted if they are scaled for lower levels or not.
Weapon sets contain only weapon and jewelry items.
Light armor sets may contain weapon and jewelry items as well.
Medium armor sets may contain weapon and jewelry items as well.
Heavy armor sets may contain weapon and jewelry items as well.
